Summary

This study investigates whether a drug called XBD173, which targets a protein (TSPO) on blood vessel lining cells, can help understand how these cells contribute to pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH). PAH is a rare condition where narrowed lung blood vessels strain the heart. Six adults with PAH and an implanted heart monitor will take XBD173 for 6 weeks, with heart and lung scans before and after. The goal is to see if changes in blood markers relate to changes in blood vessel resistance.
