Hidden artery disease may explain why some back surgeries fail
NCT ID NCT07469020
Summary
This study aims to find out how common leg artery disease is in people who need surgery for spinal stenosis, since both conditions cause similar leg pain. Researchers will test 49 patients using a special CT scan and several routine exams to see which test is most accurate for diagnosis. The goal is to improve detection so patients get the right treatment and potentially explain why some people still have pain after back surgery.
