First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a special dressing with ozonated oil can reduce redness, swelling, and pain after open inguinal hernia repair. About 60 adults having elective surgery will be randomly assigned to get either the ozonated oil dressing or a standard sterile dressing. The main goal is to measure wound inflammation on the third day after surgery, with follow-up for 30 days.
