Summary
This study looks at whether giving a numbing medicine called lidocaine through a vein can help reduce tiredness after hernia repair surgery. About 80 adults having laparoscopic hernia repair will be randomly assigned to receive either lidocaine or standard care. Researchers will check fatigue, pain, nausea, and recovery for five days after surgery.
