Patch vs pill: new skin delivery tested for MS & colitis drug
NCT ID NCT06528665
Summary
This study tested whether a skin patch could deliver the drug ozanimod as well as the standard oral capsule. Ozanimod is used to treat multiple sclerosis and ulcerative colitis. Researchers compared how the body absorbed the drug from three different patch formulas versus a swallowed pill in 24 healthy adults, checking blood levels and monitoring for skin reactions or side effects.
