First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested a new skin patch (transdermal delivery system) for the drug ozanimod, which is used to treat multiple sclerosis and ulcerative colitis. Researchers wanted to see how well the drug is absorbed through the skin compared to taking it as an oral capsule. Twenty-four healthy adults either took one capsule or wore a patch for 7 days, and blood samples were taken to measure drug levels. The study focused on safety, tolerability, and how the drug moves through the body.
