Summary
This study looks at whether oxytocin, a natural hormone, can boost the effects of a special talk therapy for veterans who have both PTSD and alcohol use disorder. About 175 veterans will get either oxytocin or a placebo before therapy sessions. Researchers will track changes in drinking habits and PTSD symptoms using questionnaires and brain scans.
