Summary
This study looks at whether oxytocin, a natural hormone, can change how nerves send pain signals after mild heat. Sixty healthy adults will receive either oxytocin or a placebo through an IV. Researchers will measure nerve activity and pain scores before and after heating a small patch of skin. This is a knowledge-gathering study, not a treatment.
