First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at whether it is possible to measure certain cholesterol byproducts, called oxysterols, in the blood of women with breast cancer who are taking hormone therapy like tamoxifen. The study included 29 women and took blood samples before and 28 days after starting treatment. The goal was not to treat the cancer, but to see if these measurements could be done reliably.
