Breathing support battle: which method helps failing hearts?
NCT ID NCT04471129
Summary
This study compares two breathing support methods—high-flow oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation—to see which one better helps heart function in people with chronic heart failure. Researchers will measure how each method affects heart pressures and patient comfort in 30 participants who have recently had heart surgery. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors choose the best breathing support for future patients.
