Breathing pure oxygen tested to boost cancer transplant recovery

NCT ID NCT04862676

Summary

This small, early study tested if breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber could help people with multiple myeloma recover faster from a stem cell transplant. The main goal was to see if adding this oxygen therapy was safe and didn't cause serious side effects. Researchers also checked if it helped patients' white blood cells recover more quickly after the transplant.
