First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at how the oxygen level target and the type of oximeter used together affect the amount of oxygen patients need. It includes 40 adults in the cardiac surgery ICU who are either breathing on their own or on a ventilator. The goal is to see if using a higher oxygen target or a specific oximeter leads to more oxygen use, helping doctors choose better settings.
