Summary

This study looked at 400 critically ill patients with septic shock and acute kidney injury who needed dialysis. Researchers compared those who used a special filter called Oxiris, which removes toxins and inflammation, to those who used standard filters. The goal was to see if the Oxiris filter could lower the chance of death within 28 days and help kidneys recover better.
