Finger clip test reveals oxygen delivery differences
NCT ID NCT05819164
Summary
This study looked at how the type of finger-clip oxygen monitor (oximeter) and the chosen oxygen target level affect how much oxygen is given to hospitalized patients. It included 40 adults with conditions like COPD or pneumonia who were already on oxygen therapy. Researchers tested different monitors and target levels to see their combined impact on oxygen flow rates.
