Summary
This study looks at how two natural compounds in food—oxalate and citrate—interact in the body and affect kidney stone risk. Researchers will measure changes in urine levels after giving potassium citrate to 24 adults, some with a history of kidney stones and some without. The goal is to better understand how citrate might help prevent stones.
