First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study is testing a product called OviTex PRS to see if it is safe and works well for women having breast reconstruction with implants after a mastectomy (breast removal due to cancer or to prevent it). About 235 women aged 22 to 75 who are non-smokers and having their first immediate reconstruction will take part. The main goals are to measure how often the reconstruction fails or causes major complications.
