This study looked at whether adding computer-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT4CBT) and peer recovery coaching to standard buprenorphine treatment helps reduce illicit drug use. 92 adults with opioid use disorder were randomly assigned to receive buprenorphine alone, buprenorphine plus CBT4CBT, or buprenorphine plus both CBT4CBT and coaching. The main goal was to see if the extra support lowered the number of positive saliva drug tests during the 8-week treatment period.
