New drug may delay return of ovarian cancer

Summary
This study tests a drug called BGB-290 (Pamiparib) as a maintenance treatment for people with recurrent ovarian cancer whose tumors shrank or disappeared after platinum-based chemotherapy. The goal is to see if taking this drug daily can delay the cancer from coming back. The trial involves 224 participants in China and compares the drug to a placebo.
