First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study aims to improve how doctors tell the difference between borderline ovarian tumors and early-stage invasive ovarian cancer before surgery. Researchers will test a panel of nine blood-based biomarkers in 400 women with suspicious ovarian cysts. If successful, this could lead to more accurate diagnoses and better treatment decisions without needing immediate surgery.
