Could a plant compound protect cancer patients from dangerous blood clots?

NCT ID NCT07303894

Summary

This study is testing whether a plant-based supplement called isoquercetin can reduce markers in the blood that indicate risk of blood clots in people with ovarian cancer. Researchers will compare the effects of isoquercetin against a placebo in 90 participants who are receiving their first chemotherapy treatment. The goal is to see if this supplement can help control a serious side effect of cancer treatment.
