First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether low-risk pregnant women can safely go home after starting labor induction with a balloon catheter, instead of staying in the hospital. About 258 women will be randomly assigned to either go home or stay in the hospital. The goal is to see if going home affects how long labor takes and how satisfied mothers feel.
