Could a powerful myeloma drug move from hospital to home? study tests impact on families

NCT ID NCT06251076

Summary

This study aims to develop a safe process for giving the drug teclistamab to patients with advanced multiple myeloma in an outpatient or home setting, rather than requiring a hospital stay. It will enroll 15 patients who have tried at least three other treatments, along with their caregivers. A key goal is to measure and understand the burden this treatment places on the family members who provide care and support at home.
