Gentle touch after back surgery: new study tests osteopathy for faster recovery

This study looks at whether adding osteopathic treatment to standard physiotherapy can reduce disability and improve quality of life for people who have had lumbar fusion surgery. Forty adults who are four weeks past surgery and still have pain will receive either targeted osteopathy or a placebo treatment. The goal is to see if this hands-on approach offers extra relief beyond usual care.
