Summary
This study tested whether a daily pill combining etoricoxib and diacerein can reduce pain and improve function in adults with knee or hip osteoarthritis. Over 60 days, 123 participants took either the test drug or an active comparator (meloxicam plus diacerein). Researchers measured pain intensity and safety, aiming to find a better treatment option for osteoarthritis pain.
