First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at over 288,000 people with hip or knee osteoarthritis to learn how factors like education, marital status, and other health conditions affect their long-term outcomes. Participants received standard care including exercise, education, and weight loss advice. The goal was to find clues that could help predict who will do well with non-surgical treatment and who may eventually need joint replacement surgery.
