First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to place dental implants called osseo-densification, which compacts bone instead of removing it. Eight adults needing two upper-jaw implants each received one implant with the new technique and one with standard drilling. The goal was to see which method gave better implant stability and bone preservation over six months.
