First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a drug called bosentan could lower blood pressure in people with sleep apnea and mild hypertension, as well as the standard CPAP machine does. Nineteen participants were given either bosentan or CPAP to compare effects on daytime and nighttime blood pressure. The goal was to see if blocking a certain chemical in the body could help control blood pressure in sleep apnea patients.
