Eye device showdown: which tool predicts cataract surgery results best?

NCT ID NCT06377007

First seen May 25, 2026 ยท Last updated May 25, 2026

Summary

This study tested two high-tech eye-measuring devices (ARGOS and IOLMaster 700) to see which one better predicts the correct lens power for cataract surgery. 144 adults with cataracts had both devices measure their eyes before surgery. The goal was to find out which device gives more accurate results, helping doctors choose the best lens for each patient. The study is complete and the findings could improve how surgeons plan cataract procedures.
