First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether growing a patient's cancer cells in the lab (called organoids) can accurately predict which drug will shrink their tumor. Researchers will compare the lab test results with how the patient actually responds to treatment. The goal is to see if this approach can help doctors choose the most effective therapy for each person with recurrent or metastatic head and neck cancer.
