Can a basket of veggies protect unborn babies from pesticides?
NCT ID NCT07234617
Summary
This study is testing if a city program that gives pregnant women free weekly baskets of organic, local vegetables can lower their exposure to pesticides. Researchers will compare the pesticide levels in the urine of women who receive the food baskets to those who continue their normal diets. The goal is to see if this type of public health program is effective and could be expanded to protect more mothers and babies.
