NCT ID NCT06824051

First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tested the drug orforglipron in 120 adults with obesity or overweight (but not diabetes) to see how it changes body fat compared to a placebo. Participants were followed for about 8 months. The main goal was to measure changes in visceral fat, the deep belly fat linked to health risks. This is an early-phase study, so results help guide future research rather than provide a treatment now.
