Promising new combo aims to tame rare lymphoma with less radiation

NCT ID NCT06583837

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a two-step treatment for people with early-stage MALT lymphoma, a slow-growing cancer of the lymph nodes. First, patients take a targeted drug called orelabrutinib. Then, based on how well the tumor responds, they receive an ultra-low dose of radiation (4Gy) to any remaining spots. The goal is to control the disease effectively while reducing side effects from standard treatments. About 50 adults with stage I or II MALT lymphoma will take part.
