NCT ID NCT05335993
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing whether adding oregovomab (an antibody) to niraparib (a daily pill) can better control platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer. Ten women whose cancer came back after initial chemotherapy will receive both drugs for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see how many patients have their disease shrink or stay stable.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
oregovomab (a monoclonal antibody) and niraparib (a drug, brand name Zejula)
What this could lead to
If it works, this combination could help control recurrent ovarian cancer for longer, delaying the need for more chemotherapy.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early-phase trial with only 10 participants. It may not show benefit, and side effects from the drugs could be significant.
