Engineered stem cell graft aims to improve transplant success in blood cancers

NCT ID NCT03802695

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new way to prepare donor stem cells (called Orca-Q) for transplant in people with certain blood cancers like leukemia. The goal is to see if this engineered graft is safe and helps the body accept the new cells without serious side effects. About 300 participants will receive the specially processed donor cells and be monitored for complications like graft failure or graft-versus-host disease.
