Scientists probe why Diabetics' mouths heal differently
NCT ID NCT07470281
Summary
This study aims to understand how gum tissue heals after a common dental procedure in people with diabetes compared to those without. Researchers will enroll 40 adults with receding gums to see if healing speed, gum coverage, and related biological factors differ between the two groups. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future dental care for diabetic patients.
