First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to treat men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to standard hormone therapy. Fifteen men took high-dose oral testosterone for one week, then no treatment for one week, repeating for three months. If the cancer worsened, they switched to enzalutamide. The goal was to see if this approach could control the cancer and delay progression.
