NCT ID NCT04878393
Summary
This study observed how well the once-daily pill Rybelsus (oral semaglutide) works for managing type 2 diabetes in everyday medical practice in Japan. It followed 650 adults for 8-10 months to see how the medication affected their blood sugar levels and body weight, while also tracking any side effects. The goal was to gather real-world information on the drug's effectiveness and safety outside of a controlled clinical trial setting.
