Summary

This study aims to understand why some oral HPV infections last a long time and may lead to throat cancer. Researchers are screening 1,500 adults, then following those with signs of the virus for several years to track their health. The goal is to learn which factors put people at higher risk, which could help guide future screening and prevention efforts.
