Can text messages help pregnant women fight gum disease?
NCT ID NCT07507045
Summary
This study tests whether adding oral health education to routine pregnancy check-ups improves dental hygiene for mothers in Bangladesh. Nearly 700 pregnant women will be divided into two groups: one receives special brushing instruction and weekly text reminders, while the other gets standard care. Researchers will track both groups for 12 weeks to see if the education leads to better brushing habits and cleaner teeth.
