New pill combo aims to stop leukemia from coming back

Summary

This study tests a daily pill (decitabine) given alone or with other targeted drugs to adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is in remission. The goal is to see if this maintenance therapy is safe and can help prevent the cancer from returning. About 125 participants will be enrolled at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
