Better brushing, better sleep: simple mouth care lessons transform life for home ventilator patients
NCT ID NCT07211906
Summary
This study tested whether teaching better mouth care to people who use a non-invasive breathing machine at home could improve their health and daily life. Researchers taught one group of patients specific brushing and cleaning techniques over three months, while another group received their usual care. The group that received the special training showed clear improvements in their mouth health, sleep quality, and overall sense of well-being.
