NCT ID NCT07349121

First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at doing two heart procedures at the same time: using pulsed field ablation to treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) and closing the left atrial appendage to reduce stroke risk. About 500 adults who need both treatments will be followed to see if the combined approach is safe and works well. The goal is to simplify care and improve outcomes for people with AF.
