Timing is everything: new scan strategy spots returning prostate cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT05678322
First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at the best time to use a special PET scan (rhPSMA-7.3) to find prostate cancer that has come back after the prostate is removed. Men with a rising PSA after surgery will get one or two scans to see where the cancer is hiding. The goal is to catch the cancer early so doctors can treat it sooner.
