Summary

This study compares two settings for implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) to stop fast heart rhythms. About 3980 people with heart disease getting a new ICD will be assigned to one of two pacing patterns. The goal is to see which pattern stops the dangerous rhythm better without needing a shock.
