Could raising blood pressure after clot removal improve stroke outcomes?

NCT ID NCT06677970

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at stroke patients who had a clot successfully removed from a large brain artery. After the procedure, some patients have low blood pressure. The trial will test whether carefully raising their blood pressure by 20% (but not above 160 mmHg) leads to better recovery at 3 months compared to the standard approach of keeping blood pressure at or below 180 mmHg. About 176 adults will take part.
