Summary

This study looks at how well a culturally adapted screening and brief counseling program works for chronic pain and opioid misuse in American Indian and Alaska Native communities. About 225 adults who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native and have chronic pain or opioid problems will take part. Researchers will track how many people get screened and gather feedback from clinic staff to see if the program is practical and helpful.
