NCT ID NCT07496281

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people with atrial fibrillation (AF) and prior heart stents can safely stop taking blood thinners if their heart rhythm stays normal for at least a year after AF ablation. Participants will either continue blood thinners or switch to a single antiplatelet drug. The goal is to see if stopping blood thinners is as safe and effective for preventing strokes, heart attacks, and bleeding.
