Summary

This study tests whether a computer alert can help primary care doctors identify patients with opioid use disorder and guide them to prescribe effective medications like buprenorphine. About 200,000 patients will be involved, with some clinics getting the alert and others not. The goal is to see if the alert increases the number of patients receiving proper treatment.
