Summary

This study is testing if starting a monthly injection for opioid addiction right when someone enters jail is better than keeping them on daily pills. It involves 200 people with opioid use disorder who are awaiting trial. The goal is to see which approach helps people stay on their medication after they are released from jail and reduces problems inside the facility.
