Summary

This study tests a type of anesthesia that uses fewer opioids during spine surgery in people aged 65 and older. The goal is to see if it lowers pain and the need for strong painkillers after surgery. Half the participants will get this opioid-sparing anesthesia, and the other half will get standard care. Researchers will track pain levels and opioid use for three days after surgery.
